watertemperature: winter 19-22°C, summer 30°C, (no stingers)

Windsurfing from mainbeach, kitesurfing from mainbeach only for experienced kiters due to wall.
Farnborough beach is very safe: 100m+ wide (low tide), then dune then street or bushland...

Great gear setup for windsurfing behind the sailing club (main beach)on nice lawns equipped with taps. There are only about max. of 15 local windsurfers and 10 kiters in Yeppoon. The winter in Yeppoon is very short and mild. Yeppoon is the get away to the Keppel Islands
