Ozone has been developing the Instinct Edge for release in 2010, making this the fourth generation of Ozone Edge to be released. A lot has changed since the original Edge in 2007 debuted a 5 line mini bridle setup and anti-invert line. Ozone now opting for a simpler 4 line bridle setup and through the bar safety. For 2010 Ozone will continue its refinement from the 2009 Edge with a profile change to the canopy bringing more bottom end power and improving the downwind ability of the kite for 2010. In addition to the Edge 2010 Ozone will now ship the kite with the new Contact Control Bar.

We had the opportunity to inspect one of the new Flysurfer Speed III kites up close, what's more it was 19m light wind machine! Flysurfer has certainly stepped up the bar in terms of usability between the Speed 2 and Speed 3 with some real significant improvements in flight characteristics. The kite feels more stable and at the same time far more responsive than the previous version, the power in the kite feels far more usable and manageable.
