Farewell AndyFly

AndyFly-Andrew-Muirden

AndyFly (Andrew Muirden) sadly passed away yesterday 29th August 2011 aged 47 years old.  

He will be missed by the whole community here at Extreme Kites, as well as the family and friends he has left behind.  AndyFly was not just a talented kiter, he was an inspirational person to so many.

AndyFly joins the BrisKites Team

andyflyAndyFly has joined the BrisKites Land Kiting Team, speaking to both parties it came around as an arrangement that works on more than one level.  AndyFly has been developing as a prominent land kiter in Australia for the past two years, starting with ground based freestyle then progressing to aerial buggy freestyle.  AndyFly's progress over the past year has really grown, and it has not gone unnoticed with Jason from BrisKites commenting on what also was important to him when choosing a team rider and inviting AndyFly to join the team.
 
Freestylers Unite

freestylers_uniteFlysurfer Team Rider Luke Southern and local talent "Stu" from Canberra met up on the weekend for some freestyle kite buggying.  In their new video titled "Unite" there's a bit of everything from buggy offs, to 360's etc, however the most prominent new move to be featured is Luke's new forkspin by hand.  Enjoy the video and some of Australia's best freestyle talent on display.
