Cougar Proto Built in Australia
Thursday, 07 August 2008 | Written by Joel Theodore
firesurf-com-au.gif Marty James & Jeremy West from Firesurf Australia have just finished the first Cougar Prototype here in Australia.  They first approached Carl Lambert (Popeyethewelder) earlier this year with an idea to create the Cougar buggy here in Australia.  Since then the pair have been working with Carl at building the first Australian Cougar prototype.  The purpose of the first buggy was to demonstrate that these buggies could be built here in Australia to a very high standard.  The first one is complete and living in Queensland, it will be made available for demo locally following availability interstate shortly after.

Firesurf Australia are already designing and prototyping mid-level race buggies built here in Australia aimed at the local market.  An extension of this project will be the availability of Buggy Trailers, Accessories and Custom Wheels.
