Flexifoil Blurr Power Kite
Sunday, 22 June 2008 | Written by Joel Theodore
flexifoil_blurr_article.jpgFlexifoil have released a new kite called the "Blurr."  The kite is designed for speed and stability.  It is not a bridge between Flexifoil's Rage and Blade kites, it is aimed to go fast.  Flexifoil are promoting the kite as a buggy engine, with the new Flexifoil Blurr promo video showing it being used by Team Flexifoil Riders purely in the buggies.  Typically Flexifoil have restrained from entering the race kite market, or promoting their products as "Fast" kites.

The Blurr is a kite with one mission – speed! It’s designed specifically for
buggying and getting you from point A to point B and back again - fast.

flexifoil_blurr_siderunner2.gifFlexifoil have put two years of development into the new Blurr to produce a kite that releases "controllable speed."  Whilst Flexifoil have made it clear that this kite is not a bridge between a Rage and a Blade, it may very well bridge the gap for those looking to get into racing and not wanting the characteristics of a race kite.

The Blurr is the culmination of two years work with a simple objective - realising controllable speed.  Having this pure concept to work towards has enabled Flexifoil to design a kite that does exactly what it was built to do and the final product speaks for itself.  The results of this major investment includes a completely bespoke and highly advanced aerofoil to provide amazing speed alongside rock-solid stability and a new high aspect ratio design to reduce drag, increasing the speed of the kite through the sky and generating even more power.
