    Ozone Wasp Wing

Na wouldn't bother , could try on flat beach just to try but would end up running it over from being close to ground, maybe a land board if you ride them. I think I'd still prefer kites on water.

    Ozone Wasp Wing

This is an interesting development. Interesting to read they recommend it for land and water use but do not mention land use in a buggy. Perhaps it would be to difficult to use sitting down? I would like to hear people’s views on use in a buggy? What do you think? Couldn’t find a price either! https://ozonekites.com/products/wings/wasp-v1

    The next big thing?

Itll be the "next big thing" for about 6 months then youll never hear of it again. During that time some &*!! will demand it be accepted as an Olympic sport. Its still a million more times interesting than golf mind. ;-)

76kmh with an 18m? Wow!!! I think its hard to get an used R1 21.0, because they didnt sell so much? I have never seen one. The AeroV2 is a very fast kite, but easy to fly...

Thanks Juan. I have a 15m Chrono V2 and a 15 R1 and they are very different kites with the Chrono 2 being MUCH more docile. Would love to buggy with an Aero just to compare. It looks fantastic in your videos. Even the Ozone R1 V2 is dulled down from the original R1's. V2 is much lighter, has better manners, incredibly delicate materials, but seems to lack the top end speed of the first R1's. Would love to know if it's just my imagination. I also love my 18m Joker 7 ELF. Its one hell of a kite. Extremely well behaved and goes like hell when the wind comes up. Been to 76kmh with it. Would love to get an original 21m R1 to get buggying in really low wind. If anyone has an old one, or I would even consider a damaged one I can repair. Cheers.

    COATING YOUR KITE..

Thanks @andy666. Just wanted to clarify. So you've done this obviously. Did you push out all of the silicone from the caulk bottle into a bucket and mixed it with turps? How did you go? What ratios did you use? What kites did you try it on? Please share.

    COATING YOUR KITE..

@Northern Kites Australia Do you see how on the spray can you linked to it says “silicon lubricant”? That’s why it won’t work. It will never dry. The silicon and turps mix terry talks about uses a silicon sealant, which will dry. you would need to use a clear natural cure silicon. https://www.bunnings.com.au/parfix-300g-clear-all-purpose-silicone_p1232674

    COATING YOUR KITE..

What silicone sealant would you recommend Terry? Like would this work? It's already to spray and it's water proof. https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/3-in-one-silicone-spray---300g/135463.html

Its much better than the ChronoV2 in all issues!!! But its not fair to compare them, because the AeroV2 plays in another league. You can compare the AeroV2 with the R1V2, but I never tried out the R1.

    Flysurfer Speed5 12M

great review joel , are you the same guy that did vids years gone by , iv'e been flying since 2003 , and I remember seeing a joel flying flysurfers in a buggy ,in many vids , I started on flexifoil blades with a work harness , with a roller pully I made myself -much stronger than a petzl one ,I made one for mark everit, and andy preston and I have always flown at Brancaster uk , and I learnt to jump watching the gravity renegades crew in buggies at brannie and I switched to speeds about 2007, speed1 13 and 10 and , and then a few speed 2 's, 2 of which I still have and use a spd2 10 metre delux ,because it is so fast and amazing at everything and a spd2 silver arrow 15 - the cloth is so delicate it scares me after a cancer battle which i'm winning , I have been kiting again , and I have brought 3 new kites , and an old kangoo van , just waiting hear about driving again -8 months now -they have a back log , I have a 6 and 10 soul and a spd 5 15 metre to play with , and I can't wait to get going fully on my own with out getting rides off others

hi spike I have a DX , as you can see I like minimal foot straps , I got a few carbon foot strap brackets off paul heartland (CKB), I have 2 of his decks as well to which I did the same thing as far as foot strap brackets go , very light , heavy duty webbing and carbon brackets, I have 2 CKB decks , LB3, and LB77 , been riding the DX a lot for a couple of years , when I got the DX the rubbers were abit worn , and the steering was loose and sloppy , but I managed to buy a new set off a guy who was selling another DX and had a spare set rubbers , so I brought them and its now how I like it a bit stiff on the steering , I like to slide a lot and get airboune
