@DrWind - That had some WOW factor. Especially the scene around the whales.

    Videos from Facebook

Joel, The last couple of videos you have posted (Chasta's Flow and f**K it) have videos taken from what seems to be Facebook. They will not play my end on the mac. Do you think I have to be signed in? Mez

    Kiteboarder in trouble

So I do not fly the big kites, nor have had any lessons but I do know that you keep an eye on your kite (plan a route down to the water first man!!)
  6. Hi All, Well our time in Kingston S.E has certainly excited us and the Victorian flyers are keen for some more buggy action. Looking at the tides and weather and wind depending, how about the weekend of Saturday 16th February and Sunday 17th February? The low tides appear at the end of the month but stretch across the week. If it works out, we will organise it closer to the date. We will plan on camping the night at the caravan park.

  9. It is with heavy hearts that we loose a friend from Kingston SE this morning. Robyn from Sandy Grove was taken ill earlier this month and passed away this morning. Our kite fly will be in her honour today - and her amazing spirit and produce. She will be missed by all the frequent Kingston Kite Flyers. Please join us in a fly for Robyn wherever you may be. Robyn , may you now rest easy. Photo courtesy - Sandy Grove Facebook Page
  10. Should be doing a beach run today - around 11am so see you out there
  11. Whoops - I was mis-informed. SPASIBO (Thank you in Russian) From where we were set up, we got to only admire his bottom!
  12. Are you here yet @CasualRural Orange Superman is a Peter Lynn Astronaught - he’s pretty spectacular isn’t he? We had an excellent day out of the beach yesterday. Anne, John, Dougie, Maggie and I all had a swim whilst watching Chook get out the biggest kite (dooner) I have ever seen. He did a couple of trips from just up from the Drain to the Granites and John also put a kite in the air. I had the Blo-fly tacking and jibing the beach and was mastering some upwind and downwind turns as the wind picked up strength, with both Dougie, John and Chook also having a go. The gradually strengthening wind was just perfect to get back into it as I hadn’t been out since Kingston 2018 - Dougie got some awesome footage on the drone which I’m sure will be made into a video once we’re home. The night finished up with a pub meal along with Bull and Jen and a sing-song with Anne Yesterday was a good day with good people.
  13. Nice to hear you’re both now settling in - been on a few missions today in preparation. See you later in the week.
