    Flysurfer Boost2 11M

I've got to say that I flew this Kite without knowing much about it at all. It came about when I was bragging to a friend on how good the liquid force Solo was and that it was an all-rounder that could not be beat. I mentioned how I have flown most kites out there already and that I haven't found a better kite yet. But he kept on insisting that there is a better kite and that's when he mentioned the Flysurfer boost 2. He insisted that it was heaps better than most of the kites out there at the moment and that its great for freestyle, Freeride, Old school and new school flying. OUT OF THE BAG I lay the kite on the floor to have a look at the build quality and all I Noticed was how solid it actually looked. Next out came the the pump I clicked it into the valve and off I went, I must say this flysurfer pump is the easiest and fastest I have ever used to date. Well my misses wasn't too impressed having 11 meter kite pumped up in the lounge but she's very understanding. FIRST FLIGHT As I said earlier have flown many other brands over my years of kiting and I have never experienced anything like this thing, OMFG. This kite is going to change the Kiting industry, its a true all-rounder. Apparently this Boost 2 has been refined with better up wind, bigger jumping and lots more hang time than the original Boost. Boy all that is so true it goes up wind at an angle that I never thought possible. It boosted bigger than any of the kites that were out in the water today and it looped like a six meter. Most of the guys had their 7s 8s and 9s out at the time and Here I was with the 11m. I don't recommend this for beginners, remember I was just testing the kite and I wasn't sure how I was gonna handle being on such a big kite with 30knt winds, but boy did it handle, I was looping the kite out of every turn doing down loops on the way down from massive jumps, but I just didn't have the confidence yet to loop while boosting as I still need to get used to the kite. This thing is amazing and I'm not just saying that. I had the kite moving around with loops and spins and the usual moves that I normally do with total confidence. Now the rip off the water was unreal, the G Force was amazing Ps I noticed I'm now 3inches taller. There is no way I could've done what I did today even with my nine meter Liquid force Solo. Well the high end seems F..CK..G AWESOME. I need to wait for a low wind day to see what it's low end is like. Stay tuned, more to come

North Coast - Germany - Kite surfing ban

National Parks administrators for Germany's North Coast are seeking a kitesurfing ban. Kite surfers there are seeking our help to sign a petition to stop this legislation. The link below gives the translation into English. The worry is that it may lead to other National Parks in other countries to follow suit. Don't know why they want to ban it, a money grab perhaps, as kiting will be limited to specific locations and you pay to get access. http://www.northkiteboarding.com/blog/?id=EihraaGkfH5W9hdecYJ5Sw Reading further, to sign the petition, they want a post code and your email address. So asking the European kiters, is there anything overseaas kiters can do to help. M/// have any ideas? More info here http://www.kiteforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=2390461&p=904650 regards, Norman
