Indeed, the whole lot seems to be controlled by their bodies and perhaps a throttle control is what's connected to their fingers.  It's a sensational video, it must be an amazing feeling being able to fly like that and knowing what's happening, how much input you're having and responding all by the feeling and pressure on your arms and legs.  It's direct control over flight without a 3rd party input device like a steering wheel or joystick etc.

....and arms, hands, legs, feet etc as pseudo control surfaces.

Our land yachts are the same. At high speed you can keep the front wheel flying just using it as a rudder, by putting one arm behind your head. To jibe, reach forward as far as you can to plant the wheel through the jibe. Much less friction on 2 rear wheels alone.

C'mon Chook - a bit of bush ingenuity and I see a new use for that home-made pulse jet of yours...  1 :crazypilot:

Might need a bit of a hand lighting the party sparklers that are twisted together for ignition mate!!!!:D

PS; You can see the LED valve caps we use for night sailing on Lefroy. They turn on when the wheel rotates if you look closely.
