Ahh thanks for your reply Juan, that's what tricked me the plastic spoke covers.

We are trying 26" x 3 1/2" Fatbike rims with heavy duty hubs and 12g spokes on our land yachts but the spokes keep pulling out of the hubs with the greater side loads. A yacht has so much more down-pressure imposed than a kite buggy.

Cheers Chook

I think, 26“ is too much. It wouldnt work on a buggy, either.

The rinuswheel has a 20“ fatbike rim (102mm width) with 4,2mm spokes and stainless hubs. Very solid!

The only problem is finding good tyres for that size. We use Kenda 20“x4 1/2“, but they are hard to get...

Wow 4.2mm spokes that is solid. They are on 20mm axles?

Yeh 26" would get in the way on a buggy for sure. We use the 26" to roll over a very soft surface where I live but cant use them in competition as the rules state 400mm Od wheelbarrow tyres on International 5.6 landyachts.

Thanks for your time Juan I really appreciate it.

Cheers. :friends:

Oct.8-14th was the Wildwood buggy bash held in Wildwood NJ, Usa. What started as a weekend get together has evolved into a week long gathering of buggy, boarding, and blokart family. This year, those who arrived early were treated to some amazing onshore winds courtesy of Hurricane Michael. Wildwood beach is approximately 7 miles of amazing hardpack facing the Atlantic ocean. This year we had 4 GT buggies, a PTW and 2 MG Supras as well as the assortment of PL and Flexifoil buggies. Having upgraded my gear this year allowed me to set several PB's. I buggied more this bash than all my previous ones combined.
